The 2025 LCMS Youth Gathering will be held July 19-23, 2025, in New Orleans, LA. The theme for the Gathering will be “Endure” based on Hebrews 12:1-3. The Kansas District would like to have a strong presence at the 2025 LCMS Youth Gathering. New Orleans is a wonderful host city! We can expect great food, music, cultural experiences and the generous hospitality of the local people. We encourage you to participate and register your youth!
Below you will find registration for busing, the Kansas District event, the optional swamp tour, and Kansas District T-shirts. Registration for these options will open November 1. The deadline to register for all Kansas District options is March 3, 2025.
Busing: Buses will leave Kansas on Thursday, July 17, 2025, 6-9 p.m. (depending on the city) with the goal of arriving in New Orleans on Friday, July 18, at 3 p.m. The group will leave New Orleans on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, immediately following the Mass Event. We will arrive in Kansas on Thursday, July 24, between 3-7 a.m. (depending on the city). The cost is $300 per person.

Optional Kansas District events while in New Orleans. Swamp Tour and Bayou Barn on July 19.
Swamp Tour:
There will be an optional swamp tour prior to the Kanas District Event at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, for the first 225 people who register. The cost is $25 per person.
Kansas District Event at Bayou Barn:
The Kansas District Event will be at Bayou Barn on Saturday, July 19, 2025, 3:30-6:30 p.m. The cost is $55 per person. This event includes a buffet meal with Cajun and traditional American food on the menu, an air-conditioned room that holds 400 people, a DJ, an alligator handler and outdoor games. Busing to and from the location is provided if you paid for the Kansas District busing listed above.
